By donating money to OwnASportsTeam.com you are considered a lifetime member. All monies collected from membership donations will go towards the purchase of a team and costs related to the operation of OwnASportsTeam.com. However, there is no guarantee that enough financing will be collected to purchase a team and therefore, no guarantees of service, products or other related benefits can be made and there are no refunds. If enough financing is not raised and a professional sports team is not purchased within a period of at least 5 years, all proceeds from membership donations may go to support a non-profit organization selected by OwnASportsTeam.com and the website and mission may be terminated.
